Early close Thurs 9th and Friday 10th July

Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to the exceptionally hot weather forecast again for the rest of the week (Thursday 9th July and Friday 10th July) we have made the decision to close school early. Parents/Guardians will be allowed to collect from 1:30PM to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.

While we have measures in place to keep children cool and hydrated, we believe an early finish is in the best interests of everyone's health and safety.

We are happy for children to come to school in their school uniform PE kit or wear black/grey shorts or skirts/summer dresses, if they wish in order to stay cool.

We kindly ask that children bring a sun hat each day if they have one, and please apply suncream before school.

Please collect from the classrooms as normal.

Children who cannot be collected at 1:30PM will remain in school and be supervised in a cool room until their normal collection time.
